Jazzie’s Place was created in memory of my grandmother—a social worker, advocate, and lifelong helper who believed deeply in education, access, and community care.
She had a rare gift: she didn’t just care about people’s problems—she knew how to help solve them. Whether it was finding the right resource, making the right call, or pointing someone in the right direction, she believed that information should never be a barrier to growth, safety, or opportunity.
This space exists to continue that mission.
Jazzie’s Place is a growing resource hub designed to support youth, families, and adults as they navigate education, food access, health, and systems that can often feel overwhelming or confusing. Here, you’ll find tools, links, and guidance meant to empower—not overwhelm—and to remind you that help is available, even when you don’t know where to start.
At the top of this site, you’ll find several key focus areas:
- Youth Education & Development – resources to support learning, growth, and future planning
- Food Resources – information on access, nutrition, and community support
- Child & Maternal Health – tools and guidance for children, mothers, and caregivers
- Self-Advocacy: Navigating the System – knowing your rights, your options, and who to call
This site will continue to grow over time, just like the people it’s meant to serve. If you don’t see what you’re looking for yet, check back soon, new resources are added regularly.
Jazzie’s Place is more than a website. It’s a continuation of a legacy rooted in care, knowledge, and community.
You don’t have to know everything. You just need a place to start.
